Glasses in Korea

In Korea and need some new glasses?

South Korea is one of the cheapest places to buy prescription glasses, sunglasses, and frames!
If you are open to buying non-American brands you can end up saving a pretty penny.
And perhaps spend more than a pretty penny if you only want Gucci. :p

One of the best places to go is Myeungdong!

Don’t know your prescription or it’s been a while since you’ve had your eyes checked?
No worries!!!
One of the great things about Korea is most glass shops will give you an eye check up for FREE!!!!

On my visit I decided to go with a Korean brand called DOA-Dream Of Asia.

They were such a great fit, less than $100 for the eye check up, frames, glasses, and fitting!
And they looked great!
Between my eye exam and frames they were ready in a few days!

Consider getting your glasses while you’re there!

  4. Hello,
first of all I would like to thank you for your fast reply but for sure I have not been clear with my previous message; I am not in Korea actually and I would like to know if there is a way for buying this specific pair of glass and have it mailed in my country; I was in Korea last year and I bought this glasses in a shop there but now unfortunately the glasses got broken and I would like to replace them with a new pair.
Do you have any suggestion ?
I know there is a DOA site on Internet but it is all in Korean language and I don’t understand if it is possible to buy this glasses through it ?
